Bob Kenselaar - Former Jazz Studies Curator @ Rutgers joins AfroCuba

Bob Kenselaar plays saxophone – mostly tenor and soprano – and has performed at restaurants, bars, private parties, and outdoor music festivals in New Jersey and New York for more than 20 years.  Venues where he’s played include the Stone Ponyand Convention Hall in Asbury Park, Highlawn Pavilion and The Manor in West Orange, Scotland Yard in Hoboken, Trumpets in Montclair, and Maplewoodstock.  He is a former Assistant Curator of the Institute of Jazz Studies at Rutgers University, longtime staff member at The New York Public Library, and a senior contributor for All About Jazz.  

Now Bob joins us to bring back the music of Tito Puente, Machito and Tito Rodriguez from the 50s at the Palladium
